This hand-printed piece pairs bright paper circles (cut from brayer roll-off sheets from gelli printing) with bold, black graphic depictions of aquilegia in their various forms - a leaf, hanging flower in profile, flower from the front, and two bendy, twisty sculptural seedhead forms. The paper circles with their pinks, oranges and teals give an impression of the colourful nature of a cottage garden, in which the aquilegia is often found.
