Meet the Founder

Hello, I’m Katie! From my studio in Nottinghamshire, I blend a passion for natural history, bold botanical motifs and rich, sensory textures. Every print is hand-pulled from a carved rubber or lino block; every book is handmade or hand bound; and every decorative object is created from a richly saturated jewel tone palette of paints, leathers and textiles.

What I love about using small blocks is that I have the freedom to make different compositions with a completely different vibe. Two leaf blocks can be a pile of leaves dancing in the wind - or the densely foliated branches of a hawthorn hedge. Livel
My accepted submission for the upcoming Squares exhibition at @fronteer_art in Sheffield later this month. The brief was square art, no larger than 8 inches square including the frame, so I'm looking forward to seeing lots of lovely small works!

Took the boyo out to the local Star Wars festival today. We sat outside in the sunshine and did some sketching of things we'd seen inside. Here is Grogu... Turned out better than I thought it might - he has a very unusual shaped head when you're used
